A fascinating, if somewhat circular, discourse on a drink much mentioned in US Christmas movies but not really had here. Do so many really dislike it?

Downunder, we drink eggs with relish as a yummy breakfast substitute (called an egg flip) — eggs, milk, beaten till frothy, with or without sugar, possibly with blended or whole fruit. Same as having French toast (without the bread) or scrambled eggs (without the cooking). They taste good, are good for you (without the sugar) and keep hunger at bay for hours.
