People have not changed one atom in more than five thousand years. They are just as superstitious, and in the majority, just as stupid, as they were when they crucified and burned alive what they couldn't get a grip on. Probably things were more focused back then, since survival was the only teacher really needed and failing that class was a one way gig.

But throughout history, those with imagination have tended to be persecuted. Or feted. Or murdered outright.
