Thank you, Dermott, for your recognition. Every word you write about needing fiction and poetry strikes home with me, and sharing those I’ve found joy and solace, compassion and excitement with is the best I can do to oxygenate the air. I wish I had more time to read and share more.

Like you (and including you!) I’ve found extraordinary writers here, those who can paint like Van Gogh with images knitted from words, and emotions pulled screaming from the soul. I piss and moan a bit about Medium’s lack of attention to the writers of imagination but it is still a home where I can read and find those to make me laugh out loud, or sob inside.
