The photographs are glorious, Edd, and the thistle indeed, yeah, wild beauty and great use as it brings up the minerals missing from the top soil to deposit them with it’s death and decomposition, along with the flatweeds to cover the bare soil and keep the wind and rain from sending it elsewhere.

Perhaps it’s education or just the time, the shake and stir times that occur within every family’s history, perhaps it’s genetics, but sooner or later the fractures must divide. When they’re seen and understood, it makes it easier and harder.
